    Why would I want to encapsulate my placenta?

    Placenta Encapsulation and consumption is something that has been a part of many cultures and practices such as Traditional Chinese medicine for hundreds of years. Generally humans are the only mammal that doesn’t consume the placenta after birth on automatic instinct. but that has more to do with aesthetics.

    Do I have to help or work with the placenta myself?

     

    I provide in home encapsulation services. This gives you a few different options. The short answer is No. If the very thought of being in the room for the process gives you chills I completely respect it. However, since we are in your home if you would like to be involved in any and every step of the process I am happy to be your guide. For some the processing of their placenta is a ritual that they would like to be a part of. I have taken Serve Safe and Bloodborne Pathogen courses and will be happy to provide additional PPE for you to gear up to help if you would like.

    What do I get with this package?

    All packages will include 2 in-home visits for the processing and encapsulation of your placenta. The number of capsules depends on the size of your placenta and the choice of capsule size chosen by the client. In addition to your capsules, I provide add on services for

    1. Placenta Printing and Artwork
    2. Placenta Tincture
    3. Umbilical cord keepsakes

    If there is something you have taken inspiration from I am willing to consider custom additions based on requests.

    The baseline package with no additions starts at $350. If you decide to do a Full-Package including print, keepsake and tincture you will get a deal for $400.
